Plus X Disruptors
The soon to be launched Plus X Brighton was in the early stages of development and looking to raise awareness of the brand. The team at Plus X planned to run a competition for Brighton’s most inventive minds, called Plus X Disruptors. The winning entrepreneur with the most impressive product pitch would receive six-months of Plus X Brighton desk space alongside access to Plus X workshops filled with specialist equipment, expert mentorship and guidance in product and business development.
Merci developed a landing page for the Disruptors event and integrated our marketing automation software – SharpSpring to maximise outreach. The landing page allowed contributors of the competition to upload and send their proposals to Plus X via a form. The form was available to both applicants and visitors, with an additional field to select what interests them at Plus X. This allowed the client to segment their audience, providing them with valuable data. In addition to this, we configured an automation workflow to follow-up on any missing details such as a file upload, which would trigger a personalised email reminding them to complete their application. Plus X published the event through Eventbrite, in which we linked to SharpSpring using API enabling them to log the source of each attendee through this platform and deliver a personalised email.
What the client said
Supported us every set of the wayWe entrusted the help of Merci to develop the digital strategy for our Disruptors event. The team supported us every step of the way, and together we found a fantastic solution for applicants to upload files directly into our CRM. This was important for us, as we avoided the use of 3rd party applications. Centralising the incoming data from Eventbrite gave us full scope into the number of visitors attending the event, meaning we could plan everything accurately, down to the order of refreshments! We look forward to working with Merci in the future and recommend their digital services to any SME business. Thank you so much for all your help with Disruptors (and everything else!).
